This Small Meeting will be about sharpening for beginners, please don't sign up if you are skilled. Steve will review sharpening chisels and plane blades using Veritas Mk II honing guide with waterstones and diamond plates. If there is time we will discuss other methods of sharpening.
We will continue the build of the Portsmouth Work Table. In March we added the banding to the legs around the birdseye maple inlays. The tables will be glued up and ready for the scalloped rails and preparation for the drawer.

We will continue the build of the Portsmouth Work Table. During our last meeting, we were given a demo of how to create banding and finished up some additional joinery. This next meeting will include a couple of methods for veneering and inlay.
We will continue the build of the Portsmouth Work Table. Most all of the joinery work is completed, and the table top is glued up. We will work on veneer and inlay techniques along with the apron. There should be plenty for all to work on with the two tables in progress.
