Sharpening Workshop – Morning

Our October meeting will be our third annual Sharpening Workshop. Bring your turning tools and sharpen them yourself with help from our team. We will have CBN grinders, a conventional vitreous grinder, and a belt grinder setup for use. You will describe what you want to achieve with your gouges, what you specific needs are, and then sharpen your tools to meet your needs. Lathes will also be available so you can test your newly ground tools.

To best match sharpeners with mentors, there will be two sessions. This is the morning session from 0900 till noon. There will be a second session, with separate registration in the afternoon from 1300 to 1600. For those attending both sessions, please bring a brownbag lunch.

Please bring a chair to sit in when you are not actively sharpening. Coffee and donuts will be available.
