GSWT Wig Stand & Sharpening Working session

Join us for a day of learning and working on wig stands and tool sharpening. GSWT has donated over a hundred wig stands free of charge to cancer patients who are in need of one.

This worthy initiative has made a positive impact on many lives and we need more wig stands to continue the effort.

This working session is for emerging wood turners to learn general turning principles required to make wig stands and more experienced wood turners to lend a hand along with mentoring opportunities.

Lathes, tools, wood and mentoring will be provided at the event. If you have your own tools please feel free to bring them along, we’ll have sharpening stations available for folks who want to work on their sharpening skills.

Bring a brown bag lunch and plan on a fun day.
