DESCRIPTION:ANNOUNCEMENT: Guided Tour of Joined Together: 30 Years of the New Hampshire Furniture Masters \nPLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE CLOSED REGISTRATIONS AND HAVE ASSIGNED THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED TO ONE OF TWO SESSIONS: 2 PM OR 3:30 PM.  YOU SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED AN EMAIL INFORMING YOU OF WHICH SESSION YOU HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED TO.  SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE. \nJoin the New Hampshire Furniture Masters for a special guided tour of their milestone 30th Anniversary exhibition at the Currier Museum of Art! \nDon’t miss this incredible opportunity to see an exceptional collection of fine\, contemporary furniture from some of the world’s top makers\, with much of the work on public view for the very first time. \nThe exhibition\, Joined Together: 30 Years of the New Hampshire Furniture Masters\, celebrates three decades of preserving and advancing the art of fine furniture making in New England. \nHighlights of the tour include: \n\nBill Thomas’s Monumental Desk: Witness the culmination of at least ten years of dedication as Furniture Master Bill Thomas walks us through his intricate and simply amazing piece of craftsmanship—a desk inspired by the mechanical marvels of historical masters. This truly magnificent work of art entertains as much as it delights the eyes.\nBrad Wolcott’s Coastal Chest: Be sure to see Brad Wolcott’s chest\, which features unique bronze doors cast from the rippling tide on a beach on the Cape.\nA Permanent Collection Masterpiece: If you have never seen David Lamb’s New Hampshire Secretary\, which is part of the Currier Museum’s permanent collection\, you will not want to miss this opportunity.
