Sharpening Veneer Saws

Question

How do you sharpen a veneer saw?—Joe Barry

Answer

Al Breed replies: I sharpen one side for crosscutting by filing diagonally on every other tooth, then switch it end for end and file the remaining ones, just as you would a crosscut saw. The other side of the blade, I file for ripping by filing straight across the teeth.
