When building outdoor furniture I sometimes find I have to machine pieces that have been epoxied. How much tougher on saw blades, router bits, etc is epoxy compared with regular yellow wood glue?—Bill Munch
Answer
Garrett Hack replies: Cutting any glue, especially when fully cured, is hard on your edges. I don’t think epoxy is any worse than yellow glue. Use carbide tools and keep your glue cutting to a minimum.
