Carbide 3D Nomad 883 desktop CNC machine.

This is a small full 3 axis CNC machine, is very well built, rigid for its size and accurate to .001”. It is a quality machine, not a toy.

It has a 8”x8”x3” work envelope (XYZ). Max spindle speed is 10K RPM. It is somewhat limited in power due to its size but is more than capable working with softer materials (wood, plastics, wax).

Because of its size it is not fast at removing large quantities of materials. I have used it to cut matching veneers, relief carve brass and make small aluminum parts.

I also used it to really learn CAD/CAM and CNC machining.

It can be used for detailed wax carvings that can then be used for lost wax castings.

Size is: 18 1/2 deep, 17” wide and 16 1/2 tall.
Includes wrenches, one 1/8” end mill and a block of machinable Renshape to practice on.

This can be used on non-ferrous metals. I now have a later model Nomad in addition to a full size 3 axis CNC machine and no longer need this machine.

It was purchased 5 years ago and doesn’t have that many hours of run time on it. It works as good as original, no play back lash or wear. Original retail price was around $3,000. I’m asking for $800 because it’s an older model.
